
The Xiaomi 11T Pro and Xiaomi 11T phones are expected to be launched at the company’s global event later today (Wednesday, September 15). Along with the 11T series, Xiaomi also launched the 11 Lite 5G NE smartphone. Xiaomi will also showcase its 120W Hypercharge technology at the event. The global event will also see the launch of the 55-inch Xiomi Smart TV Q1E, Xiaomi Band 6 NFC and AX3000 mesh system. It is recalled that the non-NFC model of the Mi Band 6 has been sold in India since August.
Xiaomi’s launch event will start at 20:00 GMT+8 (17:30 IST). Xiaomi will stream the event live on YouTube, twitterand share updates via your social handles. Specifications of Xiaomi 11T, Xiaomi 11T Pro (expected)
The Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro have been leaked multiple times in the past. The 11T Pro comes with new 120W fast charging support. Furthermore, Xiaomi 11T Pro specs may include an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, 120Hz Super AMOLED display, 5,000mAh battery, and support for fast charging up to 120W.
As for the Xiaomi 11T vanilla variant, it is suggested to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. The phone is also said to have a 120Hz display and carries a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
Rendering leaks suggest that the Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro may come with a hole-punch display design and include a vertically-aligned triple rear camera setup. Additionally, the phones appear to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Both phones come in Celestial Blue, Meteorite Gray and Moonlight White colors. The company has confirmed that the two phones will receive three Android OS updates and four years of security updates in their lifecycle.
Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE specs (expected)
Along with the 11T series, the launch of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE has also been announced. The new Xiaomi phone is rumored to be in the works with specs that are likely to be almost the same as the Mi 11 Lite 5G. In terms of specs, the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is rumored to have many similarities with the Mi 11 Lite 5G. That could include the same triple rear camera setup, a 20-megapixel selfie camera, and a hole-punch display design. However, the new phone is said to have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC – unlike the Mi 11 Lite 5G which is powered by a Snapdragon 780G.
Xiaomi ‘Hyper’ fast charging technology
Xiaomi also intends to reveal the ‘Hyper’ fast charging technology at its global product launch event today, but it did not specify the name of the models that will support it or further details about the fast charging technology. According to the leaks, the Xiaomi 11T Pro will feature 120W HyperCharge fast charging with a compatible adapter.
Xiaomi Smart TV, Mesh Wi-Fi Router specs, features (expected)
The company will launch a new 55-inch Xiaomi Smart TV Q1E model at the event. This new TV is likely to sport an OLED panel and could be a rebrand of an existing smart TV already launched in China. There’s no clarity in the details of the 55-inch Xiaomi Smart TV Q1E.
Xiaomi will also launch the Xiaomi AX3000 mesh system globally after introducing it in China. Router features include Gigabit 2.4GHz dual-band 5G Wi-Fi 6 mesh networking, 256GB of memory and support for 160MHz bandwidth. It claims to offer a transfer rate of up to 3000 Mbps.
Xiaomi Band 6 NFC specs (expected)
Lastly, Xiaomi’s global event on September 15 will likely see the launch of the Xiaomi Band 6 NFC model. This will be an offshoot of the Xiaomi Band 6 released in India in August and will likely support touch-based payments thanks to NFC support. Other than that, all other specs are expected to be the same as the vanilla model. It is likely to have a 1.56-inch color AMOLED screen, SpO2 sensor, 24-hour heart rate sensor, 15 exercise modes and up to 50 meters of water resistance. It is likely to offer 130 watch faces and last up to 14 days on a full charge.
