Tactical RPG fans can get ready for Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, a reboot of the original 1998 title. Co-op enthusiasts can try We Were Here Forever, which is the fourth title in the popular series that features walkie-talkie communication with a friend as players solve puzzles together to escape confinement in a castle – or play the role of the Marked Inquisitor as they hunt down powerful Mages in the RPG Salt and Sacrifice, similar to Souls.
Fans of side-scrolling action-adventure titles can help Samurai Hiroki defeat his enemies with Trek to Yomi, while Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising – a prequel to the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will have players battling and scavenging for materials to help restore a city after a calamity. Sniper Elite 5 is also set to arrive in May, with a campaign, drop-in PvP, and a co-op mode – plus a terrifying ‘Enhanced Kill Cam’.

The turn-based tactical RPG is set in the 41st millennium, with the galaxy threatened by Bloom, an intergalactic plague of cosmic proportions capable of rotting entire worlds. Controlling the mighty Gray Knights, elite warriors considered humanity’s greatest weapon, you must try to stop a plot to infect the galaxy with the plague in Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters.
The game will put your strategy-making skills to the test – as you conduct research and engage in combat, the plague will affect planets across the galaxy. You can customize your Gray Knights, be it armor, voices or faces. Gameplay involves both melee and ranged attacks, enhanced by the Precision Targeting system, which offers unerring accuracy. The game will let you manipulate your surroundings as you struggle to thwart Nurgle’s balanced plans in this upcoming gothic sci-fi title.

Devolver Digital’s upcoming side-scrolling action-adventure game will put you in the shoes of young Samurai Hiroki and walk the path of revenge as he hunts down the enemies that destroyed his home. Trek to Yomi is all black and white, similar to the popular title Limbo. Developers Shadow Warrior and Flying Wild Hog showed off a trailer for the upcoming title at E3 2021, including several gameplay features.
The game is expected to have a cinematic style and design, with free-form exploration and side-scrolling combat with a fixed camera. Spending your time exploring the game for hidden areas will grant you access to upgrades for Hiroki’s health and stamina, as well as bonus weapons and tools. After completing the game, you can choose to play an extremely challenging one-hit mode, which will cause Hiroki to die the moment he is hit.

This standalone title is a cooperative first-person adventure that features lots of puzzles that you must solve together with a second player. You’ll have a walkie-talkie to talk to your partner as you can’t see each other, allowing you to tackle challenges together. The fourth game of we were here series that debuted in 2017, We Were Here Forever will feature new areas, puzzles, and an improved interface and gameplay.
Back in the Castle Rock dungeons, you and your fellow prisoner (your partner) will have to find a way to escape facing different puzzles to get out. After escaping the Keep, you and your partner will have to venture into different areas like Rockbury, Graveyard and Foundry. You won’t need to play any of the previous titles, even if the stories are connected. Your ability to work with your partner will decide whether you survive and escape.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

Arriving as a prequel to the upcoming Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, set to debut in 2023, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a Japanese action RPG that promises plenty of sword fighting and exploration. You’ll need to “sweep dungeons” and earn materials as you work to rebuild New Naveah to its former glory – yes, this JRPG comes with city upgrade mechanics along with fast-paced combat. The game includes characters such as the acting mayor Isha, the scavenger JB and the mercenary Garoo.
As you play Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, you’ll explore ancient ruins as you discover a city struggling to rebuild after a massive earthquake. You will have to discover the secret hidden in the nearby Runebarrows, while uncovering a dark conspiracy as you progress through the game. Finally, the decisions you make while playing will also affect the main story of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, according to the game’s official Steam description.

This Souls-like dark fantasy RPG throws you into a once peaceful realm that has been ruined by powerful Mages. You will play as a Branded Inquisitor, a doomed warrior who has awakened to hunt down these Mages that plague this world. Taking down these enemies will earn you drops that can be used to craft weapons and armor. Mages aren’t your only opponents in this labyrinthine world of Salt and Sacrifice, you’ll also encounter scavengers, secrets, traps and powerful guardians.
The game will also include a full online co-op mode and a quick online co-op mode. You will also be able to challenge other players online in PvP mode.
Fountain of Madness

The Loam Lands is a Lovecraftian-inspired world that serves as the setting for the Fountain of Madness. The developer employed an AI-assisted art style to beautify the world. It’s a 2D side-scrolling roguelike that lets you control an Acolyte as you unravel the mysteries of these lands and the Tower of Madness.
The game will pit you against procedurally generated monsters that are animated by neural network AI. So each enemy you face will provide you with a unique challenge. You will face these monsters with your close combat magic. There will be an extensive skill tree to bolster your offense, unlocking skills, classes and spells.
The Centenary Case: A Shijima Story

Haruka Kagami is a budding mystery writer who visits the Shijima family and finds herself unraveling the mystery of a chain of unexplained murders over the past century. You control Kagami in search of clues in three different time periods – 1922, 1972 and 2022. The murder cases are divided into three parts: the incident phase, the reasoning phase and the solution phase.
The narrative of The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story is driven by beautifully shot live-action footage directed by Koichiro Ito with director of photography Yasuhito Tachibana. Characters are voiced in Japanese with subtitles in English, French, Italian, German, and more. The game is being developed and published by Square Enix of the famous Final Fantasy.
Evil Dead: The Game

Inspired by the Evil Dead film franchise and the Ash vs Evil Dead television series, Evil Dead: The Game brings you the ultimate survival horror action. You’ll be able to step into the shoes of iconic characters like Ash, Scotty, Lord Arthur, Kelly Maxwell and more. The game will also come with maps based on Evil Dead locations, including the infamous cabin in the woods.
Evil Dead: The Game will have a single-player mode and a four-player online co-op game mode. There will also be a PvP mode with one of the players taking control of the Kandarian Demon to hunt down other players.

Big Bad Wolf developed Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is a single-player RPG that, as the name suggests, includes vampires. You can step into the shoes (if they are using any) of three vampires who have different abilities.
Throughout the game, you can switch between all of them. The game takes place in Boston, where the swan, Hazel Iversen, has been elected the new prince. You can customize characters and upgrade their abilities to suit your play style.
Dolmen

Horror Action RPG Dolmen takes you to a very hostile alien world called Revion Prime. Your first order of business is to bring back samples of a crystal that consists of some unique properties. The crystal is known as Dolmen. These crystals allow interaction between realities and also help to revolutionize space exploration.
Battles in Dolmen make your character stronger with various weapons – including melee and ranged – at your disposal. Characters also activate ‘Power Mode’, which imbues your melee weapons with elemental status effects that allow you to take adequate advantage of your enemy’s weakness.
Hardspace: Ship Destroyer

Hardspace: Shipbreaker developed by Blackbird Interactive lets you take control of a ship destroyer working for the Lynx Corporation. The game offers various gadgets such as laser cutters and string tools to tinker with. As a player, you must rescue useful materials from derelict ships, which earns you credits that can be used to pay off the massive debt you owe the Lynx.
As you progress through the game, you gain access to more difficult contracts, as well as better suits that can withstand more damage, increase oxygen capacity, upgrade cutters, and much more. Hardspace: Shipbreaker had been in the works since early 2016 and entered Early Access after that. The game will be available to play on PC Game Pass on day one.

The latest addition to the Sniper Elite series brings you a third-person tactical shooter set in WWII France. The game offers campaign, co-op, and drop-in PvP. It also features an ‘Enhanced Kill Cam’ which is said to be more realistic and terrifying than ever before.
Sniper Elite 5 also brings better firefight physics. Players should consider rifle stock and barrel options along with the wind. heart rate and gravity to give a shot.
Multiplayer mode lets you customize your character and loadouts, among other things. You can earn XP and medals in 16-player competitive battles that are sure to be chaotic.
