Revolt of the Giants
When: November 2nd
Where: PRAÇA
This could be an interesting title to pick up. Developed by Warsaw-based Varsav Game Studios, Giants Uprising brings together a Tolkien-style story with gameplay that might remind you of 2005’s The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. You play as Rogbar and Kiełbasa, two giants who must take revenge on the traitorous human race and regain their race’s lost glory. In terms of gameplay, the developers say they want you to “feel the pure pleasure of extreme destruction”. You get to destroy villages, crush puny human legions, and use environmental elements to wreak havoc.
Just Dance 2022
When: November 4th
Where: PS4, PS5, Stadia, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Ones, Xbox Series S/X
On the iconic ’80s hit “Let’s Dance,” David Bowie sang, “Put your red shoes on and dance to the blues.” Ubisoft seems to have taken the legend’s words a little too seriously and has already released a dozen games in its popular Just Dance series. The 13th game in the lineup doesn’t seem to mess with the tried-and-true formula and will follow the classic gameplay style where players will have to mimic the moves from the choreography on screen. As usual, players can use motion controllers or the game’s mobile app. Just Dance 2022 will feature swing tracks such as Beyoncé’s “Run the World (Girls)” and Dua Lipa’s “Levitating”.
Call of Duty: Vanguard
When: november 5th
Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Ones, Xbox Series S/X
Yes, Call of Duty is back. And yes, it’s another World War II special. After Call of Duty: WWII simply rehashed the storyline of the Golden Globe-winning miniseries Band of Brothers, Call of Duty: Vanguard boasts that this time around, players will be able to “witness the origin of Special Forces” in the main campaign, which will span across European, Pacific, and North African theaters of war. For CoD fans, however, the multiplayer is where all the fun is, as the game promises new maps, game modes, and of course, the return of a new zombie co-op campaign.
Call of Duty Vanguard Multiplayer Hands-On Beta: A Step Back in Time
forza horizon 5
When: november 5th
Where: PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X
Probably the only other Xbox exclusive that PlayStation fans envy besides Halo, Forza Horizon 5 is set to release in the first week of November. This time, developer Playground Games will take players into the beautifully recreated world of Mexico. From poster-worthy sports cars like the Mercedes-AMG One to off-road dominators like the latest Ford Bronco models, you’ll be able to drive a wide variety of cars in a vast open world filled with single player and multiplayer activities.
Jurassic World Evolution 2
When: 9 of November
Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X
What if Roller Coaster Tycoon met Jurassic Park? The first Jurassic World Evolution by Frontier Developments offered fun real-time strategy gameplay where you can create and manage a prehistoric theme park where dinosaurs are its main attraction. From planting the right bushes and trees for your harmless herbivores to making sure the terrifying T-Rex doesn’t escape its enclosure (again), Jurassic World Evolution 2 and its more complex artificial intelligence are sure to keep you busy for hours. Oh, Jeff Goldblum and Bryce Dallas Howard will be returning to voice their onscreen characters of Ian Malcolm and Claire Dearing, respectively. If you’re not already excited, check out Goldblum and his exceptional jokes in this gameplay video below:
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
When: November 11th
Where: nintendo switch
Set a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (actually 4,000 years before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope), the story of Knights of the Old Republic chronicles a bitter war between the Sith and the Jedi. If you’ve played the original BioWare game from 2003 and if you own a Nintendo Switch, you shouldn’t miss this platform-exclusive port. The gameplay is still fun and the story is still one of the best Star Wars stories out there. While a PS5 remake is on the way and an all-new KOTOR game is reportedly in the works, the Switch version could help pass the time between them.
Sherlock Holmes Chapter One
When: November 16th
Where: PC, PS5, Xbox Series S/X
Step into the Victorian boots of a 21-year-old Sherlock Holmes as he explores the Mediterranean island of Cordona to unravel a sinister conspiracy. Judging by the gameplay trailer, the action-adventure title will involve plenty of exploration on foot, hand-to-hand combat, Batman: Arkham Asylum-style crime scene investigations, and Hitman-style disguise options. If you’re a fan of the detective, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One might be an interesting choice.
Battlefield 2042
When: November 19th
Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X
Get ready to take 360 shots without crosshairs again as Battlefield is back with its latest installment. This time there will be no single player campaigns and DICE will only focus on massive multiplayer modes. Battlefield 2042 will support 128 players on PC and next-gen consoles, with 64 players on current-gen consoles. For the first time in the franchise, Battlefield 2042 will feature cross-platform gameplay for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. This could give Battlefield 2042 an advantage over Call of Duty: Vanguard after launch.
Battlefield 2042 Open Beta Hands-On: Non-Strategic Abundance
Shiny Diamond Pokémon, Shiny Pearl Pokémon
When: November 19th
Where: nintendo switch
Remakes of the 2006 Nintendo DS games of the same name, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are set to bring classic gameplay to Switch users with noticeably improved graphics. As a Trainer, you will be able to explore the fictional island of Sinnoh. As is standard in every other Pokemon game, you’ll spend most of your time catching, training, and battling exquisite Pokemon. This title is widely suggested for dedicated fans of the franchise.
Cricket 22
When: November 25th
Where: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X
Few Cricket games have been able to recreate the sheer brilliance of Codemasters’ 1998 release, Brian Lara Cricket. But then again, there weren’t many cricket matches in the first place. Cricket 22, developed by Melbourne-based developer Big Ant Studios, can push one of the limits with its revamped controls and stunning graphics. This will also mark the first cricket game on next generation consoles. Just like FIFA, you will have a story-based career mode. It will be interesting to hear the feedback from the women’s team when the women’s teams play against each other.
